Almost exactly a year ago, I spent a lovely (but chilly) weekend in Castilla y León. Here’s one of the most beautiful things I saw during my trip – a gorgeous sunset in Segovia

Segovia was the last city I visited on my trip (after Salamanca and tiny Ávila). It’s most famous for its Roman aqueduct, which still runs today.

The aqueduct was pretty cool, but my favorite part of visiting Segovia was watching the sun set behind the enchanting fairytale castle. The slowly setting wintry sun made the segoviano countryside glow golden then bronze, before finally settling into the pale purples of early evening.

Besos!
